Yes! Our hairpieces are uniquely made with real silk material and we recommend washing the hairpiece with delicate clothes detergent or conditioner shampoo for the silk. Next, rinse hairpiece with cool or Lukewarm water then gently stroke and rub the hair and silk when washing. Then let the entire hairpiece air dry once the shampoo/conditioner is rinsed completely out.
The silk will change color if anything water base or oil gets on it. However, due the silk’s extreme thinnest, the color change is not entirely noticeable and can still look natural while on your head.
Hair Specialist Advice: Hair oil or any other healthy hair products that gets on the Silk closure or Frontal is beneficial to the natural hair because it will keep your hair moisturized and can help stop hair breakage.
Silk Opulence Real Silk Lace Closure and Lace Frontal Hairpieces comes Blonde, Jet black, and Natural. For any other color we recommend asking our professional Hairstylist to color your hairpiece to your desired color.
Pro Tip: When attempting to color the hairpiece, DO NOT GO NEAR THE ROOT PART OF THE HAIRPIECE TO AVOID GETTING COLOR ON THE SILK! ONCE HAIR COLOR GETS ON THE SILK THE HAIRPIECES MUST BE REPLACED.!
A. Silk Opulence Real Silk Closure can last 9-12 months with proper care. (The smaller portion 5x5 size Lace Closure for the front of the head)
Silk Opulence Real Silk Frontal can last 6-9 months with proper care. (The bigger and ear-to-ear portion size 11.5x6 or 12x6 Lace Frontal for the front of the head)
